The Division of Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, is seeking a candidate for a Senior Associate Consultant faculty position to support the Clinical Mass Spectrometry and the Clinical Immunoassay Laboratories. The successful candidate will provide clinical and technical oversight of endocrine testing within these two clinical laboratories.

Responsibilities include overseeing test development, validation, and implementation; ensuring regulatory compliance; and supporting day-to-day laboratory operations including monitoring of ongoing assay performance. The position also includes substantial opportunities to educate and mentor laboratory staff, fellows, and other trainees and to participate in collaborative clinical and translational research.

The Division of Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology includes 17 clinical laboratorians and pathologists who oversee 8 clinical laboratories providing a broad range of diagnostic testing for both the internal Mayo Clinic practice and the Mayo Clinic Laboratories (MCL) reference laboratory.
