✓Ability to qualify as a NYS Radiological Worker (certification provided at LLE)
Education
✓Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience required
✓Or equivalent combination of education and experience
✓High degree of manual dexterity

Qualifications
✓Strong mechanical aptitude
✓Ability to work in a cleanroom environment
✓Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
✓Strong interpersonal skills working in a team-based environment
✓Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn additional software as needed
✓Applicants should possess a technical background, with experience working with optical, electrical, and/or mechanical systems including vacuum and pressurized gas systems.
✓DOE Q-Cleared or ability to obtain Q clearance
✓Proficiency reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical schematics
✓Technical writing experience
✓Familiarity with nuclear spectroscopy equipment (e.g. Scintillators, Photomultiplier tubes) and high-speed electronic data acquisition.
