Medical Technologist or categorical, CT, HTL, ASCP or equivalent, preferred.
Project Management trained and certified preferred.
Education
✓Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or chemical, physical, or biological science or Information Systems or combination of the above. Graduate degree in healthcare related field preferred.
Qualifications
✓May require a valid Virginia Driver’s License.
5 years of leadership experience in a complex health environment and experience in laboratory middleware, software and/or hardware preferred.

About the role

The Laboratory IS Program Coordinator will facilitate communication, integration and problem solving with Beaker/Lab IT and Community Heath Teams and will be responsible for supporting the laboratory management team in coordinating select laboratory IS projects, upgrades, workflow improvements and other support functions.
