Here’s What You Need Bachelor's Degree Chemical, Biological, or Clinical Science is required OrBachelor's Degree Must have 24 semester hours of science courses with 6 semester hours of chemistry, 6 semester hours of biology, and 12 semester hours of chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology in any combinationPrevious experience with CAP standards, including participation in CAP inspections and maintaining ongoing CAP readiness is a plusExperience conducting competency assessments is a plus5 Years under the direction of an MT or Pathologist is required and2 Years leadership experience is preferredMT(ASCP) - Medical Technologist Upon Hire is required OrCT(ASCP) - Cytotechnologist Upon Hire is required OrHTL(ASCP) - Histotechnologist Upon Hire is required OrMLS(ASCP) - Medical Lab Scientist Upon Hire is required OrSCT(ASCP) - Specialist in Cytotechnology Upon Hire is required OrOther equivalent of one of the above including AMT, AAB, HHS, NCA, HEW, CLS-CA, FL, NY state license, Phillipine Board Upon Hire is required OrHT(ASCP) - Histotechnician if supervising Histology within Anatomical Pathology Upon Hire is requiredStrong, positive interpersonal skills.

Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly. Problem-solving ability, time management skills, and possesses organizational skills to function successfully in a fast paced work environment.

Oversees work schedules and personnel assignments for the department and Delegates employee responsibilities as needed.
