Lactation Consultant

Department: 100 - 611000 TG - Lactation Services Position Description: Plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates care for breastfeeding mothers. Responsible to the mothers she sees to provide the most accurate up-to-date information and appropriate assistance. Also responsible for educating the health-care providers to meet the needs of breastfeeding mothers throughout the organization.

Furthermore, evaluates products related to lactation and share her evaluation with others.

1. Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse or LPN, with at least 3-5 years' experience as a maternal-child nurse in which good performance has been demonstrated. 2. Demonstrate leadership skills. 3.

Prefer 4,000 breastfeeding consultancy practice hours. 4. Prefer BSN degree or enrollment in a Bachelor's program. 5. Board certification eligibility within the 1st year employment.
