Licensure
✓Must be recognized as an APRN to be eligible, with current license to practice, or eligibility to obtain practice in the state of South Carolina.
Certifications
✓Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) require either a certification from an American Health Association (AHA) for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Healthcare Provider.
Education
✓Graduate of a program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs
✓The minimum education requirement for those hired after March 1, 2019, is a master’s degree, or higher, with the concentration in Nurse Anesthesia.
Qualifications
✓Plans, organizes, facilitates, monitors, and evaluates activities and functions of the division-based employee and organizational goals.
✓Works to hire and empower and motivate team members to their highest potential.
✓Experience administering vascular, minimal pediatric, neuro, regional, and orthopedic anesthesia, as well as anesthesia for outpatient surgery.
