Education
✓Must maintain requirements as outlined by the Mammography Quality Standards Act and American College of Radiology.
Qualifications
✓Completion of formal training in an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Program or equivalent is required.
✓A minimum of two years of Mammography experience is required.
✓Outpatient Imaging Center Lead Position requires a minimum of two years ' radiology experience, including proficiency in routine diagnostic radiology and Bone Densitometry.
✓Ability to consistently meet the following job accountabilities: critical thinking, interpersonal skills, team membership, customer focus, initiative and reliability.
✓Must have the conceptual ability to determine the means of providing the requested mammography images of acceptable diagnostic quality based on the specifics of each case.
✓Must have the interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients who may be under physical and/or emotional stress, and to instruct employees in mammography techniques.
✓Must have the physical dexterity and strength to operate all technical equipment, as well as to transfer and position patients within the mammography suite.
One year 's experience as Lead is preferred.
