You’ll need
Certifications
✓Administer immunizations, as applicable, when appropriately certified or when the employee meets established experience requirements and is working under the supervision of a qualified provider.
✓Certified Medical Assistant - Various Issuers required
Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Various Issuers preferred
Education
✓High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Qualifications
✓Experience as a medical assistant, with demonstrated proficiency in clinical and administrative tasks 3-5 years required
✓Strong leadership and team management skills.
✓Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and protocols.
✓Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical office software.
✓Ability to take vital signs, manual blood pressure, and collect blood samples and other specimens.
✓Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
✓Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
✓Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
✓Knowledge of HIPAA and other privacy and security regulations.

Previous experience providing administrative support in a healthcare or clinical environment. preferred
Prior phlebotomy experience and demonstrated competency in blood collection strongly preferred.
Experience working with nurses, physicians, nurse practitioners, or other healthcare providers. preferred
Medical Assistant experience or relevant clinical training preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a busy healthcare setting. preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills. preferred
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with nursing and clinical teams. preferred
Familiarity with electronic medical records and healthcare scheduling systems preferred.
Knowledge of patient privacy, safety, infection prevention, and healthcare quality standards. preferred
