Installs and demolishes piping (steam, water, sewage) and related plumbing fixtures using standard approved methods and procedures. Can lay out and do take off for basic plumbing/piping installations and install fixtures using drawings and installation manuals. At times, maintains faucets, sinks, drains, commodes, and valves.
Determines necessity for replacing parts. Inspects equipment and fixtures periodically to detect and repair leaks and other faults. Performs additional related duties as required to meet project schedules, including clear communication with the supervisor and assisting co-workers in the construction department (not limited to plumbing work only, you will be required to help other trades in times of need).

Demonstrates the ability to install various plumbing fixtures such as toilets, faucets, heaters, specialized equipment.
Education/Skills: High school Diploma or GED required. Able to obtain and maintain Backflow Certification. Work
At least five years of experience with plumbing required. Plumber’s license or evidence of code knowledge through experience required.
