Lead Radiology Technologist - Lee Memorial Hospital

Coordinates daily radiology department operations and workflow. Acts as a resource to staff. Accepts assigned duties such as developing staffing schedules.

Accepts “in charge” responsibilities as appropriate. Performs diagnostic radiology imaging, including routine and fluoroscopy procedures. Complies with State and Federal regulations for radiation usage and safety.

Evaluates and determines diagnostic image quality of recorded images. Participate in performance improvement initiatives. Participate in staff/student orientation and training.

Provides appropriate and safe patient care. Works positively with all customers to promote employer, patient, and physician satisfaction. May transport non-narcotic medications as directed.

Required to participate in staffing rotation as determined by specific department needs. Requirements

Graduate of JRCERT-accredited or ARRT-approved Radiography Program.

Minimum of two (2) years of full-time Diagnostic Radiography experience required. Certification: BLS (American Heart Association/Basic Life Support) required. License: Florida Radiologic Technologist License.

Other: ARRT or eligible. Ability to lead diagnostic technologists in a fast-paced, high-volume department. US:FL:Fort Myers
