Certifications
✓Certification or licensure by state and/or national governing body in of the following areas: Music, Art, Recreation, or Music Therapy, or the ability and qualifications to obtain licensure or certification within the first 6 months of employment.
✓Successful completion of CPR Certification prior to hire Successful completion of Preventative Management Aggressive Behavior Training (SAMA) prior to assisting with a restraining procedures.
Education
✓Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Music, or Recreation Therapy, or related therapeutic discipline
or a Master’s degree in Art Therapy or Occupational Therapy Two (2) year of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, preferred.

✓May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
