Get to Know Your Team: Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology and oncology services. Responsibilities Provides clinical leadership and promotes quality patient care by training and leading assigned staff.
Collaborates with the manager and/or director in developing and revising department quality assurance, performance improvement, policies, procedures, and protocols. Serves as a department liaison and first line of contact with patients, providers, and staff. Coordinates and oversees the safe delivery of complex, non-routine treatments of patients.
Performs facility-specific specialty procedures as required. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Qualifications Job
Associate's Degree or Diploma from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program. Supervision/Management knowledge and experience; Clinical/Specialty expertise. One year of critical care experience and one (1) year of related supervisory/lead experience in a hospital setting.
Current NM Respiratory Care License; BLS. ACLS or National Specialty Certification. Preferred Job
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; Certification in clinical specialty. Three (3) years of related experience. AARC Membership; National Specialty Certification
