Cleaning and troubleshooting surgical equipment. Operating room turnovers and terminal cleaningSurgical positioning of patient under the direction of OR teamPreparing and assisting with patient transportAcquiring needed surgical equipment prior to beginning of cases, as per each surgeon and case preferenceAssisting with setup of equipment in operating room suiteAssisting anesthesia provider in patient proceduresMoving and transferring of patientsCommunicates effectively with all levels of clinical staff (surgeon, anesthesia, nursing staff and ancillary staff)Safely prepares and plans for transport of post-surgical patients.
Effectively and promptly communicates and responds. Safe transport and setup of various surgical gasses (nitrogen, oxygen, CO2, etc.)Basic understanding and of surgical procedures and processes, along with types of equipment used for each procedure, as per preference of surgeon.
