Your responsibilities will include: Leading surgical preparation by organizing suites, equipment, and instruments to ensure readiness for every procedure Scrubbing in and supporting surgeons through complex cardiac surgeries, anticipating needs and maintaining a safe, sterile environment Guiding and mentoring surgical technologists, serving as a role model while training new team members and reinforcing best practices Overseeing quality and safety by managing counts, handling specimens, and ensuring compliance with infection prevention standards Driving teamwork and efficiency through effective communication, rapid problem-solving, and support for on-call and emergency cases What qualifications you will need: High School Diploma/GED required Vocational Training Program in Surgical Technology Currently certified as a Surgical Technologist preferred BLS Certification required 1 years experience Required Years of Experience Benefits HCA Florida West Marion Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
