Certifications
✓The role requires a certified Surgical Tech with 2-5 years of surgical experience, CPR certification, and the ability to handle physical demands such as lifting and standing for extended periods.JOB FUNCTIONS
✓Maintains performance competency through attendance at required in-service/education program, annual review and maintains credit hours for continued certification as required.
✓DNU CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation - CPR - CPR
Education
✓Associate’s Degree | Surgery | Required
Qualifications
✓Possess knowledge of surgical and endoscopy patients.
✓Competent in caring for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients
✓The incumbent must promote teamwork and cost containment.
✓Train new staff
✓Improve efficiencies of OR, C Section room, and GI Hall.
✓The incumbent comes into contact with patients, co-workers, ancillary staff, administrative staff, physicians, and the general public. All contact should be in a caring, courteous, and respectful manner
✓Key human relation skills needed include: positive attitude; teamwork concept; good communication skills; and motivational skills
