Responsibilities Daily coordination of the activities of the vascular staff, technical supervision including maintaining current technical requirements of Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC), comprehensive patient care and safety.
Work with the manager or supervisor to provide team management of the Vascular Lab. Able to provide complex technical care with the use of ultrasound technology for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Monitors patient care delivery and facilitates patient flow.
Qualifications Education Graduate of registry approved ultrasound program or equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Required Work Experience Must meet requirements of highest leveled Vascular Sonography Technologist at the assigned entity Required 5 years of experience in a hospital inpatient, outpatient, or ambulatory setting as a vascular sonographer Preferred Licenses and Certifications BCLS - Basic Life Support Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire Required and Registered as one of the following: RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist Vascular Technologist (RVT) through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Upon Hire Required or RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer Registered Vascular Sonographers (RVS) through the Cardiovascular Credential International (CCI) Upon Hire Required Business Unit : Company Name Piedmont Augusta Hospital
