✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Requires a High School Diploma or GED, Medical Assistant certification, and appropriate state licensure / permits.
Qualifications
✓Passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgement and an ability to remain professional in all situations.
✓You demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, guests & colleagues.
✓You have a structured work-approach, understand complex problems are and you are able to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
✓Proficient medical terminology knowledge, basic computer skills, and proficient mathematical skills (i.e. ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and calculate decimals and fractions) are also a must.
✓Excellent public relation, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
✓Effective time management skills, clerical skills, excellent phone etiquette, attention to detail, and the ability to handle moderately complex assignments under minimal supervision are essential.
✓The ability to interact effectively with doctors, patients, vendors, peers, staff, and management are also needed.
