For many students in our service area, obtaining medical services is a challenge. We are helping to eliminate barriers to care through our School Based health centers in the Metro Detroit area. By providing access to primary and preventive health care and access to Medicaid insurance, Henry Ford is committed to uplifting and empowering our young people to live healthier lifestyles and make healthy decisions

Full Time, Year-round position. Monday- Friday 8:00am-4:30pm- NO weekends or major holidays. Full benefits are associated with this position

Provides behavioral health counseling services at Roseville Middle School. The program is year-round - position continues through summer vacation. Role Overview You will provide essential behavioral health counseling services, supporting patients, families, physicians, and community providers.

Conduct patient assessments and establish therapy treatment goals. Administer individual and group therapy sessions. Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations.

Evaluate the progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions. Provide patients with information on community resources and therapeutic activities. Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and community providers to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications What You Will Need Required Qualifications Master's Degree with at least 3 years of experience in counseling, social work, or psychology.

One or more of the following licenses: Licensed Master Social Worker, Licensed Counselor, Licensed Psychologist, or Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family, obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
