You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current and unrestricted Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license in the state where the facility is located.
Certifications
✓MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW : Must be Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the state in which the facility is located
Education
✓Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Services Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Long-Term Care Administration, or a related field required.
✓Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or related fields is required
Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Public Health, or related field. preferred
Master’s Degree in related field preferred
Qualifications
✓Comprehensive knowledge of Skilled Nursing Facility, Rehabilitation, Post-Acute Care, and Long-Term Care operations.
✓Strong understanding of CMS regulations, Medicare, Medicaid, state survey processes, and regulatory compliance requirements.
✓Knowledge of healthcare administration, nursing facility operations, reimbursement systems, quality measures, and resident care standards.
✓Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
✓Ability to develop and execute strategic operational plans and achieve organizational objectives.
✓Proven financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation skills.
✓Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs.
✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
✓Ability to establish productive relationships with residents, families, employees, physicians, healthcare providers, and regulatory agencies.
✓Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
✓Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
✓Demonstrated commitment to resident-centered care and service excellence.
✓Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
✓Qualifications - External
✓Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Long-Term Care Facility, Post-Acute Care Center, Rehabilitation Center, Hospital, or related healthcare setting.
✓As a minimum, two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or long-term care Nursing Center. Should possess a working knowledge of long-term care operational standards set forth in the Federal Register, Requirements of Participation and state or federal regulations
Experience leading a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Long-Term Care Center, Rehabilitation Center, or Post-Acute Care organization. preferred
Demonstrated success with survey outcomes, quality measures, census development, employee engagement, and financial performance improvement. preferred
Multi-site or multi-department healthcare leadership experience preferred.
