You’ll need
Licensure
✓Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State.
Education
✓Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required.
Qualifications

✓Excellent attention to detail.
✓Good written and verbal communication skills.
✓Above average spelling and memory skills.
✓Working knowledge of medical terminology and medications.
✓Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, providers, patients and external customers.
✓Utilize available business technology to perform assigned duties.
✓Above average organizational skills.
✓Ability to make appropriate decisions with a minimum amount of supervisory direction.
✓Experience in use of personal computers required; proficient in use of Microsoft Word.
✓As applicable, the individual has training/competency in attending to the special needs and/or behaviors appropriate to the age of the patients for which care is being provided.
Medical office experience preferred.
Knowledge of medical practice management and/or electronic medical records systems preferred.
