More about our team Our Acute Care Unit is a 31‑bed inpatient unit specializing in adult acute care & oncology overflow. Nurses on this unit typically manage a 1:6 nurse‑to‑patient ratio. This dynamic environment is a great place to start for RN’s looking to develop critical care skills and offers nurses the opportunity to strengthen their clinical expertise while delivering compassionate, high‑quality care.
How you'll contribute A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who excels in this role: Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
