Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Reviews diagnostic test results and reports abnormal results and changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse, physician and appropriate healthcare team members in a timely manner. Collaborates with the Registered Nurse on the execution of patient plans.
Assists with patient education and discharge planning under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Evaluates and maintains the patient care environment to promote safety.
Vocational / Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing License: Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
0 years of experience Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.
1 year of experience as an LPN or Medical Assistant
