Duties Description Capital District Psychiatric Center (CDPC) is currently hiring an inpatient Licensed Psychologist. CDPC, a Joint Commission accredited Office of Mental Health (OMH) facility, provides inpatient and outpatient treatment and rehabilitation to adults who have been diagnosed with serious mental illness, outpatient treatment services for children and adolescents diagnosed with serious emotional disturbances, and operates adult community residences in the Albany/Capital District area. CDPC is committed to supporting underserved individuals, organizations, and communities along with activities and initiatives to reduce disparities in access, quality, and treatment for underserved populations. Psychologists at CDPC collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team to provide individualized treatment to achieve individuals’ treatment goals and objectives and ensure continuity of care. Tasks include:
Conducting psychological evaluations, interpreting psychological tests, and diagnosing psychological disorders.
Developing and revising treatment plans, interventions, and programs.
Conducts and/or supervises individual, group, and family psychotherapy sessions.
Maintaining records and documentation consistent with regulatory requirements.
Providing supervision and mentorship to doctoral level practicum students and Psychology interns as needed.

NYS Retirement programs Background checks will be required. The salary of $141,413 includes a Geographic Pay Differential ($20,000) and an Increased Hiring Rate ($25,077). Notes: 1.
