✓Must obtain license within six (6) months from temporary permit issuance date.
Certification in a Nursing Specialty Area, by an organization recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing preferred
Certifications
✓Graduate Vocational Nurse (GVN) Permit, with authorization to practice in the State of Texas
✓Graduates who do not present a permit to practice within sixty (60) days of graduation will be transferred to an applicable position, if available, with corresponding pay.
