✓Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, required.
Master’s degree in science, computer science, engineering, or business, preferred.
Two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience, preferred.
Qualifications
✓Exercises excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
✓Through understand of copyright law and software/business method patents and understanding of Federal rights in data and software (i.e. the Bayh-Dole Act).
✓Ability to evaluate new technologies and work with faculty and staff to develop a commercialization pathway.
✓Substantial knowledge of the application of basic and applied research to new product development, commercialization, and manufacturing
✓Experience with contracts such as material transfer, inter-institutional and non-disclosure agreements.
experience with software production management, marketing or sales, preferred.
Work experience in commercializing computer software and computer science related technology as it applies to health care/life science, preferred.
Broad technology-based experience in IT hardware and software, including experience in software product development, preferred.
Previous technology transfer or business development experience, preferred.
