Post High School Diploma or Certificate Program CDPHE Limited Scope Operators License to be acquired within 6 months of start date based on State of Colorado Statute. Preferred
Qualifications

✓Knowledge of medical office practice.
✓Knowledge of patient positioning with regards to medical imaging.
✓Knowledge of all technical aspects of medical imaging equipment.
✓Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
✓Skill in maintaining records and recording test results.
✓Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, employees, physicians and the public.
✓Ability to maintain quality control standards.
✓Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
✓Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.

About the role

Completes diagnostic x-rays for patients within the scope of practice for Limited Scope X-ray Operator certification.

What you’ll do
Prepare patients for radiologicPrepare patients for radiologic procedures and protect patients, self and other staff from radiation hazards.
Position patients and takePosition patients and take X-ray of specific parts of the patients’ body as requested by the physician.
