You’ll need
Education
✓High School Diploma or GED, required
Qualifications
✓Strong communication and customer service skills
✓Comfortable working directly with clinical departments
✓Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks during the shift
✓Ability to document information using a handheld device or forms
✓Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
✓Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 1,000 pounds
✓Ability to stand, bend, stretch, and stoop throughout the shift
Linen distribution or laundry production experience, preferred
Knowledge of hospital linen or laundry processes preferred
Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel) preferred

About the role
The Linen Technician is an entry-level, hands-on role that supports patient care by making sure clean linen and scrubs are available throughout the hospital. This is a physically demanding position that requires constant movement. You will work closely with clinical departments and help meet their daily linen needs.
