Licensure
✓Independently licensed with the Illinois and Iowa Department of Professional Regulation in one of the following - Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with two years’ experience in a community mental health setting.
Certifications
✓Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training within 6 months of hire.
✓Obtain certification within 2 months of hire and re-certify annually according to the requirements set forth in the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services related to the Illinois Medicaid Comprehensive Needs & Strengths (IM+CANS)
Education
✓Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited program; or
✓An individual possessing at least a master's degree in counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling, social work, vocational counseling, psychology, pastoral counseling, or family therapy or related field, who has successfully completed a practicum or internship that included a minimum
