$27.00 Job Purpose: - The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Lifestream Behavioral Center is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients within a behavioral health setting. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with nursing standards.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans for patients.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain current nursing practices and standards.
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements related to nursing practice.
Qualifications Required
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing meeting minimum standards of the Florida State Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Required
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in nursing, preferably in a mental health setting.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
