LPN II - Comfort Care Nursing Center

The Licensed Practical Nurse II (LPN II) delivers high-quality nursing care, administers medications, assists with treatment plans, monitors patient health, documents care, and collaborates with the healthcare team to promote optimal patient outcomes and recovery.

Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Completion of an accredited practical nursing program. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent.

Demonstrated clinical experience as an LPN, preferably at least one year. Strong understanding of nursing principles, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations.

Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or acute care settings. Additional certifications such as IV therapy, wound care, or geriatric nursing. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare technology.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

& Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care including medication administration and treatments. Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress. Assist with patient hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement care plans. Educate patients and families regarding health maintenance and post-treatment care.

Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards. Participate in continuing education and professional development. Professional Responsibilities Demonstrate compassionate and professional patient care.

Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Maintain proficiency with EHR documentation and healthcare technology. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and assist patients throughout the workday. Manual dexterity sufficient to perform nursing procedures and medication administration.
