Licensure
✓A current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New York State.
Certifications
✓Specialized Certification: HIV Specialist certification is REQUIRED.
✓Minimum of an Associate Degree or equivalent certification.
Qualifications
✓At least 3 years of job-related nursing experience.
✓A minimum of 1 year in an ambulatory care or specialty clinic setting is essential.
✓Tech Savvy: Proven proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office products, and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
✓Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills that project a positive image.
✓A natural ability to engage patients, prioritize workload, and manage a dynamic caseload.
✓The capacity to work independently while also functioning as an active, collaborative team member.
✓A strong orientation towards consumer satisfaction, high attention to detail, and demonstrated proficiency in reconciliation.
✓Ability to create front-end infrastructure for clinics, such as scheduling.
✓Bilingual Bonus: Fluency in English and Spanish is a significant advantage!
1-3 years of HIV-related experience is strongly preferred.
