Collaborates with members of other disciplines. Observes patient behavior for changes in order to intervene therapeutically, guide non-professional nursing staff, communicate changes to appropriate staff, and record changes. Assists with the staffing process for nursing issues. Assists with reviewing all the staffing schedule and informing managers of potential overtime issues then assists managers in making necessary changes as directed by the Registered Nurse. 3449. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing. One (1) year psychiatric experience preferred, but not required. Current status as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Alabama. Current CPR Certification required. Must have a successfull background, drug screening, and ABI/FBI fingerprints.
