Licensure
✓Must maintain a current state license of practical nursing
Certifications
✓Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained
✓On-line BLS certification is not acceptable
Education
✓Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing
✓Graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by “The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES)
