You’ll need
Licensure
✓Must hold a current New York state LPN license.
Certifications
✓Active BLS card from the American Heart Association
Education
✓High school Diploma or equivalent
Qualifications
✓Ability to read and write and perform basic arithmetic calculations in order to take and record height, vital signs and to comprehend and follow verbal instructions when assisting physician(s).
✓Knowledge of basic biology, anatomy and physiology, typing and medical terminology is required.
✓Interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients, physicians and other practice personnel.
✓Ability to work independently, concentrate and pay attention to detail.

About the role
The Offsite Licensed Practice Nurse works as part of a healthcare team by assisting in planning and implementing care interventions while promoting high quality patient care in a professional, efficient and safe manner, ensuring the patient flow. The Offsite Licensed Practice Nurse will also provide personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to patients.
