You’ll need
Licensure
✓High School Diploma or GED equivalent with current LPN licensure in the State of Ohio from an accredited school of nursing.
Current LPN licensure in the State of Ohio preferred
Certifications
✓Obtain prior authorizations and pre-certifications to support timely patient care.
Current BLS certification preferred
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent credential. preferred
Qualifications
✓Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
✓Experience obtaining vital signs, administering injections, performing phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing.
✓Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
✓Knowledge of medical terminology, infection prevention, patient confidentiality, and medical office procedures.
Two or more years of Medical Assistant experience in a physician practice preferred
Experience with oncology workflows, referrals, prior authorizations, and infusion scheduling. preferred
Previous experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and medical scribing. preferred
