Facility: Morton Plant Hospital Behavioral Health Location: Clearwater Status: Full Time, Exempt: No Shift Hours: 6:45 am- 7:15 pm Weekend Work: Every Other On Call: No How often will this team member be working remotely? Never Responsibilities - LPN - Inpatient: Works in collaboration and under direction of a Registered Nurse and is responsible for delivery of patient care as directed for assigned patients including medication administration, therapy and interventions.

SIPP Only: Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care, assistance and supervision to a child. Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.

HS Graduate or Equivalent GED. Technical Program Completion or Degree in Practical Nurse Program. OR applicants who have successfully completed the Practical Nurse Equivalency (PNEQ).

Required

6 months Acute Care as a Patient Care Technician, Practical Nurse Apprentice, or Practical Nurse Intern (or a combination of time within these 3 roles). Or 6 months Acute Care as an LPN. Successful completion of the 30 hour Florida Board of Nursing IV course during the first two weeks of the LPN internship; however this is not required for SIPP.

Required Certifications and

BLS (Basic Life Support). LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - State of Florida. Preferred - ACLS (Cardiovascular) - Unit Specific.

Successful completion of the 30-hour Florida Board of Nursing IV course during the first two weeks of the LPN internship; however, this is not required for SIPP. Come join our wonderful team!
