Lpn/Rn - PRN - Ucnh

LPN/RN Position Purpose: Provides direct patient care that promotes safety and well-being of all patients under the supervision of an RN. Assists in new staff orientation and training and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient care needs. This should be performed under the direction of the RN on the unit or the Nurse Manager of the unit and in accordance with the Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse Rules.

Days and hours to be determined based on needs of the facility and applicant availability.

Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing and currently licensed as a LPN by the state. Licenses/Certificates: LPN - Current Active Georgia License - BLS obtain within 60 days of hire - preferred ACLS & PALS

Up to 1 year of job related experience (minimum) - 2 to 5 years of recent job-related experience (preferred) Working Conditions - Must be proficient in verbal and written communication. Must be able to work at a personal computer. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and to be able to lift, push, bend and carry loads of up to 50 pounds; must be able to lift and move patients.

Must be able to concentrate despite frequent interruptions. Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.
