LPN / RN - SCC Ob/Gyn Locations

Responsible for providing direct patient care and clinical support across all South Central OB/GYN clinic locations. This position requires independence, initiative, and a strong commitment to patient care, safety, and confidentiality while supporting multiple clinic locations as needed.

Current Mississippi Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license. Current CPR/BLS certification.

Previous OB/GYN clinic experience preferred. Experience with Cerner electronic medical records preferred.

• & Responsibilities Identify patients using approved patient identifiers before treatment. Obtain and document ambulatory intake in Cerner. Route prescriptions to pharmacies and administer/document injections. Perform and document Non
• Stress Tests as ordered. Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals and radiology procedures. Address patient messages and notify patients of test results and provider instructions. Place orders in Cerner per physician instructions using approved verbal order processes. Perform and document approved laboratory procedures. Assist physicians with procedures and complete consent forms accurately. Follow infection control, safety, HIPAA, and universal precaution standards. Provide patient triage and communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff. Complete assignments in a timely manner and assist coworkers as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, and patient interaction. Ability to assist with patient care activities and clinical procedures.
