You’ll need
Licensure
✓No experience required, other than that acquired through the acquisition of the PTA degree and licensure.
✓Licensed by the State of Alabama.
Education
✓Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
Qualifications
✓Preferred experience with adolescent and adult physical therapy in the areas of orthopedic and neurological injury.

What you’ll do
Follow the Physical TherapyFollow the Physical Therapy Plan of Care for each patient, as developed by the Physical Therapist
Utilize modalities, exercise, compensationUtilize modalities, exercise, compensation, and other “hands-on” care to carry out the Physical Therapy Plan of Care for each patient
Provide clear verbal andProvide clear verbal and written instruction to patients as indicated by the Plan of Care
Request additional evaluation andRequest additional evaluation and input from the Physical Therapist when a patient’s condition has changed or the method of therapy care does not present with significant improvement in a patient’s condition
Consistently work at aConsistently work at a production pace
