Full-time and part-time opportunities available Maxim Healthcare is hiring a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide one-on-one nursing care for a patient in the Katy area. This is a great opportunity for an LVN who enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients and families while providing personalized care in a home setting. Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care is not required.
Training will be provided to qualified nurses. Patient Care Skills Feeding tube care Tracheostomy care Ventilator management Ongoing assessment and monitoring Medication administration and skilled nursing care Trach and ventilator training provided. What You’ll Do As an LVN with Maxim Healthcare, you will: Provide individualized nursing care based on the patient’s plan of care Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care Perform focused assessments to identify patient needs Monitor for changes in the patient’s physical and psychosocial condition Collect, analyze, and document relevant patient information Communicate changes in condition to the appropriate members of the healthcare team Accurately document nursing care provided Assist with feeding tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator-related care Perform other LVN duties as assigned Qualifications Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of Texas Current BLS certification Current PPD or chest X-ray Current health certificate, as required One year of LVN experience required
