✓Requirements
Licensure
✓MRI board certification (ARRT) (MR) must be achieved within 12 months of the date of hire if:
✓A registered Nuclear Medicine Tech (ARRT) (NM) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or board certified (NMTCB) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
Certifications
✓Healthcare Provider certification required. (BCLS)
✓A registered Radiographer (ARRT)(R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
✓A registered Sonographer (ARDMS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
✓Failure to obtain MRI registry within the designated time frame will result in termination of the Magnetic Resonance Technologist position.
Current certification with the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (MRI) preferred.
Education
✓High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
