Single. Day. Aspirus Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, WI is seeking a MAINTENANCE MECHANIC II to join our MAINTENANCE team!
The Maintenance Mechanic II performs repairs and maintenance on AWH buildings, equipment and compounds. Performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled jobs including regular and preventative maintenance and emergency disaster and recover services / repair. Mechanic II will perform maintenance for assigned Aspirus facilities throughout all Aspirus regions in Wisconsin.
HOURS: Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every pay period. Day/PM Rotation. Occasional weekend.
Experience/Qualifications Knowledge of mechanical standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. State approved apprenticed Millwright or Machinery Repairman or equivalent work life experience. Preferred completion of designated course or equivalent at a Technical College.
Minimum of five (5) years’ work experience preferred in general maintenance in a commercial, industrial, or heath care setting. Technical training in mechanical and/electrical subject areas is desirable. Possesses a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License required.
