Get to Know Your Team: Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU .

Responsibilities The General Mechanic maintains and repairs hospital facilities, equipment, and building systems to ensure a safe and reliable environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and equipment repairs. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Maintain pneumatic tube, nurse call, and Code Blue systems. Respond to routine and emergency maintenance requests. Follow safety, infection prevention, and life-safety standards.

Document work in CMMS/work order systems. Participate in on-call rotation as needed. Qualifications Job

High School diploma or equivalent required Valid High Pressure Black Seal Boiler License Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
