Maintenance Technician (Temporary Full-Time) Location: Galleria Woods Senior Living
Tuesday - Saturday | 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Pay Rate: $21-$23 per hour, based on experience Temporary Full-Time Opportunity Galleria Woods Senior Living is seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Technician for a temporary full-time assignment . The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining residential apartments and community common areas through timely repairs, preventive maintenance, and excellent customer service to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and emergency repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, doors, locks, and general maintenance Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment issues Complete work orders accurately and efficiently Assist with HVAC troubleshooting and minor repairs Support community projects, building upkeep, and seasonal maintenance activities Maintain tools, equipment, and supply inventory Participate in on-call rotation and overtime as needed Qualifications High school diploma or GED required One to two years of maintenance experience preferred Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building repairs Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (more with assistance) Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and ladder use
