This is a flexible Day shift meaning there will be painting projects that will need to be completed after 5 PM in the evenings. You will need to be flexible with that schedule. Responsible for applying paints, stains, and other surface treatments to structural surfaces and property.

This position prepares surfaces by washing, scraping, sanding, torching, and smoothing prior to applying finishing materials. Additionally, this role ensures surfaces are properly treated to achieve desired finishes. In addition, this position assists other trades as needed to complete projects.

Responsibilities for this role include maintaining tools and equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and collaborating with team members. This role contributes to the overall maintenance and aesthetic quality of the organization's facilities. Additional Duties: Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and physical structures as scheduled or needed under general or limited supervision.

Responds to in-house work orders and preventive maintenance tasks on a daily basis and in a timely manner. May be required to respond to emergency calls under general supervision. May be required to take call in accordance with facility requirements in a timely manner.

Maintains complete and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with healthcare, Federal, State, and Local regulations and standards. Responsible for keeping current on maintenance logs. Replaces sheetrock, tapes and floats, paints all interior and exterior surfaces, and performs minor carpenter work.

Applies protective and decorative coats of paint, varnish, lacquer, and related materials to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, furniture, equipment, and other property. Maintains existing paint surfaces by matching and tinting appropriate paint products. Properly stores, cleans, and disposes of all supplies and equipment used per departmental policies and procedures.

Assists in the operation and general maintenance of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, locksmith, and alarm systems.
