With one of the leading alcohol and drug detox and rehab programs in Philadelphia, Fairmount is the provider of choice for individuals requiring specialized co-occurring psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment. We are currently seeking full-time Maintenance Worker to join our team. The Maintenance Worker is responsible for the construction, repair and maintenance of building surfaces and furnishings, creating and maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for patients, employees and visitors of the Fairmount Behavioral Health System.
The Maintenance Worker reports to the Director of Plant Operations and is responsible for but not limited to: -Completion of assigned Work Orders (ranging from paint/spackle, electrical, plumbing, and furniture repair) -Complete morning and afternoon trash runs -Daily clean up of facility grounds -Assisting in removal of snow from facility grounds -Responsible for collection of biohazard trash and sharp containers -Assisting in moving and assembling furniture -Rotate weekend shifts as well as on call shifts during the weekends Qualifications Additional
High school graduate and trade school preferred.
- Two (2) years’ experience in carpentry, building, equipment, and utility maintenance preferred. Licensure/Certification: Valid driver’s license.
