Under general supervision, the Maint Worker - Skilled position serves as a highly skilled technician performing mostly technical functions for the Plant Engineering Department including inspecting, servicing, and repairing advanced electrical, mechanical, and plumbing equipment. Takes on-call coverage as scheduled. Tech II position supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all customer groups.
Job Duties/Responsibilities: Responds to requests by pager, radio, telephone or other methods of communication. Performs emergency repairs using proper trouble-shooting techniques. Conducts periodic inspections/tests based on pre-determined priorities and conditions.
Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment as specified. Maintains logs of inspections, tests, servicing, and repairs as required. Completes work orders as required.
