You’ll need
Licensure
✓Valid Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety license.
✓Maintain Illinois State License
Certifications
✓Registry or Registry-eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Education
✓Formal training in an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
Qualifications
✓Proficient in modality physics and operation of equipment.
✓Knowledge of human anatomy, pathology and physiology.
✓Demonstrates good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
✓Successful completion of 40 hour mammography course
✓Proficient screening mammography with technical repeat of 1% or lower
✓Proficient in screening mammography
✓Proficient in diagnostic mammography
✓Proficient in image guided breast procedures included but not limited to interventional breast biopsy procedures.
