Performs mammography testing and procedures for patients. Performs quality mammograms following prescribed techniques, with minimal radiation exposure to patients and self. Knowledge of MQSA, required QC procedures, and required patient outcomes tracking.
Able to perform all applicable equipment quality control. • Accurately records all requested database / log records Assists radiologists as needed. Consistently follows hospital and department policies and protocols, Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with privacy laws (HIPPA) and facility policies. Takes responsibility for self-development and supports learning e nvironment.
Provides age-specific care to neonates through geriatrics. Consistently follows hospital and department guidelines for patient identification and safety. Additional Responsibilities Uses administrative skills to co ntribute to the successful operation of the department by entering and completing correct billing codes in the RIS and on patient billing sheets. Performs other duties as assigned.
