Mammographer Technologist Help Make Early Detection Possible. As a Mammographer Technologist at Froedtert South, you'll play an important role in breast health by providing high-quality mammography services in a setting where technical expertise and compassionate patient care are equally important. You'll help patients feel comfortable and informed while performing routine and specialized mammography examinations that support early detection and diagnosis.
Perform routine and specialized mammography procedures according to established protocols. Operate mammography and related equipment safely and effectively. Perform appropriate positioning techniques to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while minimizing repeat imaging.
Support special procedures, including pre-surgical lesion localization. Prepare patients physically and emotionally for examinations and procedures. Provide clear preparation instructions and answer patient questions.
Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to their needs. Maintain radiation safety and follow quality-control standards. Accurately document examinations and relevant clinical information.
Recognize and report equipment issues or malfunctions. Administer medications safely when required for procedures. Participate in quality improvement activities.
What We're Looking For Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer credential or eligibility. ARRT certification in Radiography.
ARRT Mammography certification or eligibility in accordance with applicable requirements. Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain within the required timeframe. Pay & Benefits $32.50 - $51.00 | Differentials for PMs, Nights & Weekend Pay is based on experience.
